SMIOC Sydney is an Christian community of 90+ Families and is a registered Charitable Organization based in and around North & Northwest Sydney. I’m excited to share that our community has taken a significant step forward by embarking on a new church building project. The community has recently signed a contract to acquire land and a parish hall in Galston, located at 35 Mid Dural Rd, Galston, NSW, Sydney. This new facility will serve as a dedicated space for worship, gatherings, and community activities.

As the community continues to grow, having a permanent and suitable location is crucial to further nurture and uphold the orthodox tradition for the upcoming generations of Indian Australians. Our church contributed a Sub Deacon to the Christian community. Congratulations to Mr. Geevarghese Raju on his ordination as the Sub Deacon in May 2023. This new church building will provide a welcoming and inclusive space where families and individuals from all walks of life can come together to worship and strengthen their faith.

To make this project a reality, the community is seeking support and contributions from its members and well-wishers. Every contribution, big or small, will play a vital role in helping SMIOC Sydney establish a permanent home that will serve as a spiritual and cultural anchor for the community.

Various fundraising efforts are being organized, including events, fundraisers, and initiatives aimed at engaging and involving the community in this exciting endeavor. Your generosity and support will not only contribute to the growth of SMIOC Sydney but also leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.

We invite you to join us in this noble cause as we strive to create a cherished place of worship and community in Dural. Together, we can build a strong foundation for our faith and ensure that the orthodox tradition continues to thrive in the Indian Australian community.
